Florian Feigl develops practices in the field of performance as art for more than 20 years. He collaborates with fellow artists and artist groups, organizes, publishes and researches in artistic, academic as well as societal and economic contexts. Florian published in galleries and on a boat, in a former cinema and on a scrap-yard, on A4 and in the internet, on a field and in theaters. Results of his process-oriented practices are often – but not always – performance works. The current solo performances range from 5-minute actions in the Prologue to 300 series to sculptural durational performances. As guest artist and in collaboration with colleagues he developed and realized in the past years among other works with Jörg Laue / Lose Combo (WETTER, 2024, pacific aspects, 2023), with Aleks Slota (Sculpting Inside, 2023), with Essi Kausalainen (Barbara Ja Hänta, 2023, Thousand Times Yes, 2022).
Florian is also an active teacher and scholar. He teaches practical, theoretical and experimental classes in the field of performance as art at academies and art schools throughout Europe since 2003. From 2014-2016 he was a guest professor at University of the Arts Berlin.
