Burmester & Feigl’s Neo Neo Dada

2016. Centenary year. New life for DADA: Neo Neo DADA is performance art as a political tool, anti-performances that oppose today’s catastrophic developments in art, politics and economy. Neo Neo DADA’s use of nonsense as a central stylistic device is not simply nonsense. The laughter that this kind of nonsense triggers is not relaxing. It is the only possible reaction to the macabre absurdities that are sold to us as a matter of fact and reality.
