The Root – FEIGL

In July 2023, over a period of three weeks, I unearthed the roots of a pine tree that used to be around 15m high. The stump with root had a height of 350 cm, the roots extended laterally about 250 cm in all directions.

The root also became my main performance partner for the performance series Sculpting Inside.
